New reporting engine, new reports
Using .NET has also means a change to the reporting engine, giving GST Haven more reporting options such as export to
PDF and hierarchical tree view grouping and navigation. New and improved reports have been added to the existing suite
of reports.

Multiple businesses/companies
GST Haven can now run in “advanced database selection” mode which allows for easy selection of your GST Haven data files.
In the past this involved restoring backup files, which could become confusing when operating with many company data
files.
If you are not running multiple companies GST Haven can still run in the simpler “standard” mode of operation, like earlier
versions.
GST Haven 4 has been developed to utilize the latest Microsoft .NET application framework which is intended to be used
by most new applications created for the Windows platform. This has given us the opportunity to give GST Haven a more
up-to-date look and add more features.
Split expense transactions into GST and non-GST items
A single expense transaction can now be spread across several accounts with different amounts and tax codes. This gives
the user the ability to breakdown a single transaction into its GST and non-GST components (split items).
Search transactions facility
The Search Transactions window provides several search criteria fields and a search results list. Clicking an item in the list
will close the search window and navigate you to the transaction.
Navigate transactions from the data entry window
The transaction data entry window now provides navigation controls (in the toolbar) to allow the user to move between
transaction records. In the past you would have to open the data entry screen, make some changes or add a record and
then close to move to another transaction.
